NOTD: Barielle Lava Rock

Got this polish for a while and it's only yesterday that I decided to use this. I just felt like wearing a deep darker shade after sporting blues and greens for quite sometime.

Just by looking at the bottle, my 18-year old self might have fallen in love with this polish. Wayback my college days, I love dark vampy shades. Is there anyone who remember Careline's Black Orchid? Or was it Chic or Caronia?

Described from Barielle's site as black with red pearl swirl, this polish comes into life when under the sun. It turns a bit brownish rather than it's original frosted deep wine shade. You'll think I'm wearing two different polishes in the pics posted below. No altering done, taken as is from my digicam *wink*

Formula wise, I'll rate it 9/10. Drying time is okay too, didn't use a top coat for this (I ran out of Poshe and Seche Vite, gasp!). I used 3 thin coats here, although 2 regular coats will do.

Up next, Barielle Make it a Latte. I'll try to make this week's posts everything Barielle.

Happy 1st of December! 3 weeks more to complete our Christmas shopping!

yup, i do see how it can turn brown-ish and not deep wine. 2-in-1 color, eh?
